 For me the appeal of action photography is to be able to catch that special instant - that moment that really epitomises the essence & soul of a sport or activity. I have participated in competitive sport most of my life and in Masters Swimming, I compete at national and international levels with one European and five British records to my name. I feel that such involvement greatly helps me appreciate what an athlete goes through in pursuit of their chosen sport - and hence how to portray this through the lens. Tom Greenwood fStopStills |
